In celebration of International Women’s Day, Rusten House Art Centre proudly presents the Women’s Exhibition 2025. This exhibition is powerful and inspiring, showcasing the vibrant and diverse artistic talents of female artists from across the Queanbeyan–Palerang and ACT region. This exhibition is a testament to the creativity, strength, and resilience of local women and their invaluable contributions to the arts.

This year’s exhibition provides a platform for over 30 emerging and established female artists to share their voices and visions, allowing their art to not only reflect their individual experiences but also to influence and inspire our broader community. From bold contemporary works to subtle explorations, the exhibition covers a range of mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.

Join us for a special opening event on International Women’s Day, Saturday 8 March 2025, which will take place at Rusten House Art Centre. The event will feature an afternoon of live music by Gale Warning, artist talks and beautiful artwork on display. Attendees will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of bubbles to settle in for a convivial afternoon. While the event celebrates women, it is open to all – allies are warmly invited to step through the threshold in support of women in the arts.
