Join us for the 20th annual Queanbeyan Multicultural Festival at Queanbeyan Park on Sunday 2 March!
‘It’s that time of year again, where we embrace the diversity of our region with a festival of food, dance and culture,’ said Mayor, Kenrick Winchester.
‘Join us from 10am to 4pm for fabulous multicultural food, cultural performances, and a welcoming friendly-family event.’
‘This year we celebrate the 20th year of collaboration with the Queanbeyan Multicultural Centre to produce the incredible event we all know and love today.’
‘This year will not disappoint, with two stages stacked with performances from over 30 countries including Peru, Poland, India and the Philippines.’
‘You can eat your way around the world with delicious food vendors cooking up Portuguese, Malaysian, Bhutanese and Turkish food plus some Australian favourites.’
‘There will be plenty of activities for the kids including crafts, jumping castles, rock climbing, face painting, and so much more.’
‘Council and the Queanbeyan Multicultural Centre have been working hard to bring you this milestone event and can’t wait to see you on Sunday.’
‘Dedicated parking for the event is at the Queanbeyan Showground. Please make sure you are parked at the showground and follow the marked pedestrian paths over to the event.’
‘Check our Facebook and web event pages for more information closer to the event including the event program and site map.’
