Have your say on the Bungendore Place Plan
Published on 01 February 2024
Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council is seeking community feedback on the Bungendore town centre to help develop the new Bungendore Place Plan.
The Bungendore Place Plan will help shape the town’s character, identity, liveability, and attractiveness over the next ten years.
This is an exciting chance to be involved in shaping Bungendore’s future by sharing your ideas on how the town centre can be improved to meet the community’s needs. It is also a chance to share your thoughts on the area’s existing qualities and how they can be preserved and strengthened in the process.
This plan is an opportunity for the community to share ideas that will help Council design and deliver projects to improve the future look, feel, and function of the Bungendore town centre. The plan is not related to any current projects or developments.
To make sure we hear from as many people as possible, there are multiple ways to get involved and provide input into the plan:
- Kick Off Event Saturday 3 February
Come along to the Kick Off Event from 10am to 12:30pm at the Southern Harvest Farmers Markets at The Village Square, Bungendore. Staff will have a stall where you can ask questions and share ideas.
- Online Survey 3-19 February
A digital survey will be available to complete from 3-19 February 2024 at yourvoice.qprc.nsw.gov.au/bungendore-place-plan
- Design Workshop Tuesday 5 March
Staff will be holding a Design Workshop from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday 5 March at the Carrington Inn, Bungendore. This is an opportunity to look at initial suggestions from the digital survey and share further ideas in person.
