Community meeting in Bungendore

Council is inviting the community to three community meetings in May in Braidwood, Bungendore, and Queanbeyan.

These meetings are a valuable opportunity for residents to speak directly with Councillors and senior staff, to ask questions, and share their thoughts on key issues affecting our area.

‘I’m looking forward to attending all three meetings and connecting with residents from around our region,’ said Mayor Kenrick Winchester.

‘Council really values the community’s feedback, and these in-person meetings are a great way to discuss priorities, aspirations and concerns.

‘One of the most important aspects of our May meetings is presenting Council’s budget and integrated plans which map out the projects we undertake and services we provide.’

‘At the meetings, we also want you to help us prioritise future footpath works so that we can improve accessibility and connectivity in our region.

‘At the Bungendore meeting, we will also be seeking community feedback on ideas for the vacant block at 19 Gibraltar Street, so come along and provide your input.’

Join us from 6-8pm in:

  • Braidwood on Thursday 15 May at the Braidwood Servicemens Club
  • Bungendore on Tuesday 20 May at the Bungendore Sports Hub
  • Queanbeyan on Thursday 22 May at the WB Freebody Council Chambers in the Nellie Hamilton Centre (257 Crawford Street)
