Enjoy our BIGGEST Arts Trail yet!
Published on 24 September 2024
The Queanbeyan-Palerang Arts Trail is a celebration of our local artistic talent in Braidwood, Bungendore, and Queanbeyan in the first three weekends in October.
Come along and enjoy all that the region’s creatives have to offer including beautiful ceramics and glassworks, paintings, textiles, jewellery and much, much more.
Join us in Braidwood on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October at ten different galleries, studios and pop-ups.
For the first time this year Mona Farm has joined the Arts Trail with a self-guided tour of their exceptional outdoor sculpture collection, which is in conjunction with the Braidwood Open Gardens event.
Another first for the Arts Trail is the addition of performing arts, with pop-up gigs from groups such as The Gypsy Jazz Project and bringing flavour to the trail from cafe verandas in Braidwood’s main street.
The trail will launch on Friday 4 October at the opening of Braidwood Regional Arts Group’s exhibition ‘Lumina’ from 6pm, and everyone is welcome.
Find us in Bungendore on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October where eight different studios are showcasing world class works.
Join in the 20th Anniversary Celebrations at the X Gallery, as an anthology of past artists showcase their work with Xanthe’s jewellery collection.
On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October you can experience the largest collection of arts venues to hit the Arts Trail program in its 18-year history, featuring more than 20 different galleries, pop-ups, performances, and artist studios.
Following the introduction of performing and literary arts to the trail you can watch Plein Air rehearsals from the acclaimed Echo Theatre, enjoy a Sunday Session of muso’s at the Hive in Crawford Street and an artist talk and book signing from Michelle Hiscock’s retrospective exhibition at Rusten House Art Centre.
These and many more fabulous creatives are ready to entertain visitors with their artistic endeavours, keep an eye on the website for updates and additions to the program.
