We have received $3m from the NSW Government for rehabilitation and repair works on damaged sections of Tarago Road.

We will be targeting the worst sections of Tarago Road, with shoulder widening, rehabilitation and heavy patching.

A total of 6 sections are being upgraded. Patch no. 6 is the largest and is approximately 1/3 of the program. We have engaged contractor and will start works for the final 3 sections in 2024-25 valued at $2.2million.

Completed work

  • Stage 1 was a 2km section starting just south of Mount Fairy Road and heading north on Tarago Road. It was completed in October 2023.
  • Stage 1 included road realignment, pavement rehabilitation, stormwater improvements and guardrail.
