Funding was received from the joint NSW State Government and Australian Government Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements and the NSW Government's Infrastructure Betterment Grant to construct a new box culvert crossing at Mulloon Creek on Mulloon/Manar Road.

At the 11 September 2024 Council meeting the contract was awarded to A&J Power Formwork and Civil Pty Ltd.

The culvert installation is complete, the approach road has been upgraded, landscaping is completed and signage, including depth markers, has been installed.

There are some ongoing fish-passage investigations.
