Bindi Brook Causeway

Crossing at Bindi Brook before replacement

The causeway at Bindi Brook on Nerriga Road will be replaced with a box culvert. Design of the culvert was completed in early 2021 and work is underway.

Clearing work has been completed, contractors are on site installing culverts. 

Update December 2024

  • Backfilling for new box culverts will be finished by Tuesday 10 December and traffic will switch over to the new work on 11 December
  • Traffic is impacted with one lane open at a time. Traffic control is in place.

Work is expected to be completed before the end of February 2025.

This project was funded by the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure grant program.
