Bicentennial Hall Upgrade The project will incorporate upgraded professional spaces including a stage, box office and dressing rooms. Installation of retractable seating has been completed.
Botanical Garden Queanbeyan Transform parkland on the eastern side of the Queanbeyan river into a botanical Sister City Garden.
Braidwood Landfill reinstatement This project will see works on the final rehabilitation of the former Braidwood landfill. The Braidwood landfill was closed in late 2019 when the Resource Recovery Facility opened.
Braidwood Major Overland Flow Investigation After public exhibition period of the Braidwood Floodplain Risk Management Study & Plan, it became apparent that existing development in Braidwood (including numerous main street retail outlets) is impacted by major overland flow during intense short-duration storm events.
Braidwood Pool refurbishment Stage 1 was completed in December 2023. We have grant funding for an accessible path, ramp and a pool pod platform.
