We have a significant water main break in Captains Flat. We are aiming to begin repairs at around 1.45pm and expect the repairs to take around an hour. During the repair, the majority of the town will be without water.

Due to a fire at Cleanaway St Mary's waste facility our Community Recycling Centres at Bungendore and Queanbeyan are temporarily unable to accept some items.

Queanbeyan Elizabeth II Park also holds an international Green Flag Award. The Green Flag Award scheme recognises and rewards well managed parks and green space, setting the benchmark standard for the management of recreational outdoor spaces across the world.
The Park also has a Changing Places toilet which are larger than standard accessible toilets which provide people with disability and high support needs access to suitable, safe, and private bathroom facilities. Access to the toilet is via the MLAK key system. Keys are available for purchase through the MLAK website.
