Due to a fire at Cleanaway St Mary's waste facility our Community Recycling Centres at Bungendore and Queanbeyan are temporarily unable to accept some items.

Easter Opening hours

Offices, pools and libraries

Our offices, pools and libraries are closed from Friday 18 to Monday 21 April for the Easter long weekend and Friday 25 April for Anzac Day.

Waste transfer stations

Our waste transfer stations are also closed on Good Friday (18 April) but otherwise have normal hours.

Rubbish collection

If your bin is normally collected on a Friday they will be collected on Saturday 19 April instead. Please make sure you put your bins out the night before in these areas:

Majors Creek and Araluen
Carwoola and Primrose Valley
Googong Township
