Heritage Festival

The Australian Heritage Festival takes place in NSW during April and May 2024 with the theme Connections.

It is an opportunity for the community to access events and exhibitions, gather stories and tell them, celebrate through ceremony and performances, share knowledge through talks, walks and tours, and have fun bringing heritage to life.

We have participated in the National and ACT region festivals for over a decade. To help celebrate the wealth of heritage, art and culture in our region, we have an exciting calendar of events.

Some of this year's events include an Open Day at the Braidwood Museum, a workshop to help you write your family history, history walks, trails and tours, and the QPRC Heritage Awards.
